Grace Is a Dancer
By, Lori Ann Day

Grace is a dancer, and she is a dance. She embraces both faith and hope, and her dance is eternity. Her heart is pure and few are so favoured by her. Like a withered leaf, she has died to be renewed with the kiss of life. Though in the winter she may seem to hide, in the spring she will return to confide.

When she sees you believe, she will bestow all of her wisdom that will bring joy and displace grief. In the night she will call on you, and she will whisper for you to obey. You'll follow her, and she will be your guide, and far away she will never be because she will always be by your side.

Grace is a dancer, and her arms will reach out to convey her honesty that is loyal, and wont betray. She has always been planted within your heart. Her roots will reach out to you, and they will go into the deepest foundations of your soul.

In silence she may turn and walk away, but that will be when she is answered, and given no choice. Don't worry though, she will return to pursue you when you have gone astray.

Grace is a dancer who will not stop or hesitate. She may seem like she is resting, but she will lie in wait for you to come and be drawn unto her.

She will make herself known in your presence by offering you a new spirit. Grace and wisdom will be joined by one Heart. There is no other love like grace.

She will come and knock upon your door, and she will stand before you asking you to accept her, to believe in what you can't see or conceive.

Upon the mountain of the Lord she will make her eternal dance known. Like an eagle in flight, she will spread her eternal wings and fly, bestowing a gift she's come to bring, for her song is written for you, and by her side is where you'll always be.

My Heart Reborn
By, Jonathan Hernandez

Today I woke to the morning sun, like the days past and yet to come.

But on this morning whose air I breathe, I no longer pain my heart beneath.

The pains of the past took flight at last, your importance in my life came in just as fast.

And with this I tell you I am without morn, because of you my heart has reborn.

A Tale of Us
By, Jeffrey Reeves

In this world filled with confusion I somehow found you And in our short time together You've made my dreams come true

We started out as friends But both of our hearts wanted more So we journeyed into love together As I saw parts of you I never saw before

We opened up to each other Telling our deepest fears And vowed to love one another With the passing of the years We made each other laugh And at times made each other cry

And when it seemed like it was the end We came to find our love wouldn't let us die So we wiped our tears and carried on Into a future that was uncertain

Yet it still remained that our love is strong And that loving you is no heavy burden

Opportunity Lost
By, Jean-Martin Louw, age 12

It's 10:42 Can't stop thinking about you I made a mistake, What was I doing For heaven's sake.

I thought I didn't love you, But I was wrong...

That beautiful blond hair, not too short, not too long;

Those sparkly green eyes That shine in the light;

That lovely face, which makes my heart race. If we're not more than friends I'll probably die.

If you'll never love me... I'll probably cry. Please,
Will you go out with me?

A Wife
By, Darren Anderson

A cold entity inhabits my soul at times Breaking free is futile resistance. Yet a power resides in you that finds, Weakness in the demons consistence.

A price is being paid for your victory; I know well the cost to your soul. Love is the only thing that I can offer For your fight when my heart is black as coal

When birds sing in your heart And the sun emanates from within you, Love grows wildly, Spreading to frozen regions of blue.

Born into purity-we become polluted in life Yet love filters dark and reveals my wife.

On this day when lovers confess their love to the angels who were sent from above to love and cherish them forever more and to love them like no other before

I pledge my love to you for all eternity and a man like you again there will never be who will love me so true and so deeply who I intend to keep forever beside me

For our love is so precious and so rare and on this day I vow to declare that I will love you with all my heart and until our day comes, we will never part

For the angels in the heavens high above sent you down for me to Love and from that beautiful day we met they intended for this love in our hearts to be set

Not a day goes by when I thank them for you and thank them for this love so ever true from the moment our lips touched and embraced I knew that my heart would be eternally encased

By your love that you share without a thought and in this tangled web of love I am eternally caught with you I will be and with me you will stay and our love will burn deeply forever and a day

You have shown me more than I have ever asked and each day that passes is going to fast for eternity with you is not long enough to be able to kiss, to hold, to love you so much

So on this day when lovers reveal to their loved ones how they totally feel this is my chance to say to you thank you for being you

Stars, heavens, and never-ending space. Standing alone looking up at the sky. Seeing constellations of your beautiful face. To the stars, if I could only fly.

Lakes, rivers, and the vast ocean. Standing alone along this stream. Imagining feeling your love emotion. Possible, if I could only dream.

Meadows, trees, and colors of falling leaves. Standing alone with the setting sun. Hearing your whispering voice in the mellow breeze. Follow the sound, if I could only run.

Clouds, rain, the sky so blue. Standing alone free as the birds. These feelings, and thought are for you. If, you could only hear my words.

The Greatest Love
By, Robert M. Hensel

My heart hold you tender, within it's loving arms.
Always and forever, to shelter you from harm. Together as a team, we shall build our walls around.
The greatest love known to man, that you and I have found.

Where Hearts Run Free
By, Robert M. Hensel

I know of a place, where hearts run free. High across the valley, of open sea. Together we sail, as if we're one. Down beneath the surface, this love shall run.

Into a current of lasting flow. A place that all our hearts must go. Across all deserts into the sea, this is the place, where hearts run free.

Tomorrow
By, Debbie Dixon

Five-thirty a.m., the stillness awakens me I sit up, slowly stretching, yawning as I Wipe the night scenes from my eyes.

Looking out my east window I see A huge, orange ball of fire rising over the horizon. Such a beautiful sight, my breath catches in my throat.

Clad in just a nightshirt, I step out into the morning chill. The cool morning breeze feels like silk against my flesh. I feel the chilled morning dew on the soles of my bare feet.

It gently spatters its iciness against my ankles. Peace and beauty seem to permeate my entire being Bringing me peace I have not known for so long.

As the sun starts to rise higher in the pinkish sky It puts a gentle warmth over my entire body. The birds with their incessant chirping swoop down from the trees

Searching through the dew kissed grass for their breakfast. Off in the distance I hear the wail of a train whistle.

Turning my head, I see the morning traffic beginning... Neighbors with sleepy eyes opening their doors To gather up the morning paper. With a small wave of my hand, I smile and tell the dawn
I will be back tomorrow....

Bisty
By, Marilyn McMahan

I heard a scratch on our back door. A familiar scratch, heard many times before.

I was greated by the family pet, bright eyes, wagging tail and paws all wet.

Glad to meet the morning, ready to be fed, after a night of peaceful sleep, beside her master's bed.

Play ball, chase birds and eat, free of worldly care. Wishing only to be loved, and our modest home to share.

Terrapin Ridge
By, Marilyn McMahan

Deep in the woods, our cabin sits, upon a rolling knoll. Built upon this virgin land, abandoned long ago.

I see the evidence of indians, in arrowheads left behind, the wild poke, grapes and berries, on which they once did dine.

Old wagon roads are visiable, winding ore the hill. Flowers planted by settlers, are along rock fences still. Mighty oaks, hicory, blackjack and elm, line our woodland walk.

Step lightly as you go, a native creature you may stalk. Wild flowers bloom in wonderous splender, with heads turned to the sky. Blackberries ripe and sweet are beckoning the hungry passer by.

Summer's honeysuckle scent filled night, lighting bugs on wing. Whipper Wills and mating calls, hard shell bugs against the screen. This little bit of heaven, God has given to us here. All this wonderous natural beauty and our neighbors are so dear.
So..

We'll forget unpleasant things like chiggars, snakes and ticks, and try hard to remember, we're not in town, but that we are in the "sticks".
