I know you heard of the jolly old man called Saint Nick and his eight tiny reindeer. But have you heard the story of the greatest hero of all, who was only four inches tall?
It was the year of the cookies and gumdrops and to the dismay of all, Santa had sampled one and all. Disaster was foretold when Saint Nick wouldn't fit, down the chimney's big or small.
Boys and Girls around the world pouted and cried, Saint Nick wouldn't fit and now the reindeer started to cry. In the corner and behind the wall was Everett the Mouse sitting under his Christmas tree listening to it all.
"Santa Needs Help"
What could be done, no Christmas this year! With courage and love he dared to speak out, and with the tinest of voice he declared, "There will be Christmas this year".
A talk with Mrs. Claus and all was settled with cheer, Everett the Mouse would help Santa this year. At each roof top landing you could see, gifts disappear down the chimney's with ease.
Now let it be told to one and all, if you find on Christmas morn the cookies still on the plate and the toys under the tree and wonder just how could this all be. Look at your cookie and missing you will see, a small corner, just a nibble you see.
Everett is watching his weight a nibble is all he takes. He must be able you see to run up and down the chimney's with presents for you and me. Hero's can be big or small but this year the greatest hero of all is only four inches tall, and he is keeping a list for Santa Claus.
So while you are sleeping and should you wake to hear tiny feet scampering away, have no fear its only Everett the Mouse paying you a visit this Christmas year.
