The Shoe String Jail
Now some folks here about have been asking why we call this here jail the Shoe String. Well it's like this my friend, taxes as they are and no one likes to pay them, we run this here jail on a shoe string. So now you understand the name. We have made a few changes around here, Miss Lucy went an married and now we have a new cook. His name is Chester, please don't rile this man and then want to eat! Don't forget you just might end up in this here jail someday and have to eat his cooking! You may of noticed that from time to time a cell block will be closed for cleaning. Now what seems to happen is a fellow will get sorta riled over Chester's cooking and throw the beans around. Needless to say his hanging date is moved up to solve the problem. So my best suggestion to you is don't rile Chester! Go ahead now and take a look around, as some of our guest are more than just vistors. Please be sure to shut the cell doors behind you!
