Guarantee
Your satisfaction with your portrait is completely guaranteed. I will make any
reasonable changes that you request after you receive it. If you are still not
satisfied, I will refund the full price of the portrait upon it's return to me in
original condition.
Procedure
The client and I will discuss the portrait commission and all details involved.
This may be done by phone, mail or e-mail.
Medium
Oil is done on a stretched canvas. Oil paintings offer more detail and will
have rich tones that bring out the features of the subject.
Your painting will be posted on a private page for you to view. Please
understand the quality of the portrait is somewhat disortated on line
and will not fully repesent the portrait.
Photographs
Photographs should be no smaller then 5x7 inch.
Photographs are used and always returned to the client. You should look
for a photograph that refects the subject's personality.
A sharply focused photo is best. If I can't see details, it can't be painted
properly.
Please include your name, address and phone number with the photos.
If you have a professional photographer take the photos, get a release
so that I can use the photo as a reference. Photographs are
copyrightable, just as are paintings.
Delivery And Payment
Once an agreement has been reached, and subject matter has been viewed, a time
frame will be given. This will be within a 4 to 6 weeks time frame depending on the
portrait. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due to start your portrait. There will be
an additional charge for touch-ups requested by the client.
Payment may be made by personal check, money order or cashiers check. Payment by check requires 10 business days
to clear the bank before shippment of any painting.
Payment of the balance is due prior to portrait shipment.
Framing
Because of the wide range of frames and possible damage that can be caused
during shipping to the portrait, framing is done by the client. I am more than
happy to offer suggestions.

Shipping
The costs of crating and shipping, if required, are not included in commission price.
There is no additional charge for customising your painting. e.g. changing
the colour of hair or clothing, removing glasses etc.
